Rodan Institute fosters the emerging cosmic religion of the future, along with a special focus on the leaders of the tomorrow. We are futurists who encourage faith in a loving God, the pursuit of critical thinking and scholarship, a commitment to heartful meditation and prayer, and devotion to one’s God-given mission. In these endeavors we follow the example of a mysterious figure of the distant past, Rodan of Alexandria. Rodan was a distinguished ancient Greek philosopher who—as revealed for the first time in the legendary Urantia Book—became a direct disciple of Jesus. Our Vision:
We are fostering the cosmic religion of the future to inspire and equip new leaders for the coming era of peaceful planetary civilization. We educate people to be God-centered in the broadest sense, opening them to new revelation suitable for our era, including the updated gospel of Jesus. We enable them to discover new facts and truths across all domains of understanding, including science, philosophy, theology, religion, spirituality, politics, history, esoterica, and off-world teachings.
Our Mission:
Rodan and his successors harmonized the new gospel with the currents of Hellenic culture to create European civilization; we promote the updated gospel to lay the basis for a planetary civilization. Primarily based on the Urantia Revelation, our foundational work entails original content creation or curation of content, both popular and scholarly. Upon this basis, we will pursue seminary-style education, theological scholarship, and popular educational programs that support creative ministries and specialized missions. Our products and services will assist future generations in the practical work of fostering the socialization and spiritualization of religion as well as building a well-governed world, one that is socially sustainable far into the future. While our particular mission is inspired by The Urantia Book and Eastern Orthodox Christianity, we also draw from other wisdom traditions and remain receptive to offworld influences that may foster the cosmic religion of the future.

We envision and support creative ministries and targeted missions that draw deeply from the Urantia revelation as well as the mystical depths of Eastern Orthodox Christianity, which Rodan helped found. Through our various programs and projects, we aim to build upon Rodan’s gospel-infused philosophy of living in our effort to illumine the updated teachings of Jesus in the light of revealed cosmic realities.
Mission
To foster the advanced religion and sustainable civilization of the future, we especially embrace Rodan’s evangelistic impulse, his exemplary courage, and his lifework as a philosophic educator.
